Before joining Scion Law, Jianna practiced at a national law firm, where she practiced civil and commercial litigation with a focus on family law. Jianna earned her law degree at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Prior to that, she completed an Honours degree in English language and literature, also at UBC, and worked in non-profit social services supporting women and children impacted by poverty and domestic violence. During law school, she completed a clinical term at Rise Women's Legal Centre, providing family law advice and assistance primarily on parenting arrangements and support matters.
Outside of work, Jianna enjoys reading, perfecting her croissant-making technique, cheering on the Vancouver Goldeneyes, and spending time with her husband, Nathan, and their rescue dog, Daisy.
