Jeff's practice is dedicated to estate planning and estate and trust administration.

Jeff advises clients on all aspects of estate planning and estate and trust administration. Jeff has extensive experience in developing tailored estate plans and is frequently consulted by clients and their advisors in matters of personal estate planning, trust planning, business succession planning, probate avoidance, incapacity planning, and disability planning. Jeff counsels executors and trustees on administering estates and trusts of all levels of complexity and helps beneficiaries understand their rights.

Jeff is the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Wills, Estates and Trusts Subsection (Vancouver) for the 2024 to 2025 term.  Jeff has been recognized by his peers as a leading lawyer in Trusts and Estates in Best Lawyers in Canada and in the area of Estate & Personal Planning in the Canadian Lexpert Directory. Jeff is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Vancouver and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a global organization of professional trust and estate advisors with a mandate to uphold high professional standards in the areas of trusts and estates. Jeff holds a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation.

Jeff founded Scion Law LLP in 2022. Prior to founding Scion Law, Jeff clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal from 2013 to 2014 and articled at an international law firm, before practicing law for several years in the area of trusts and estates at one of Canada's leading tax, trusts and estates boutiques.
